Terms and Conditions

The customer will be responsible for all payments to Gardens With Holmes.

The customer shall provide water and electricity at no charge to Gardens with Holmes and shall provide access to the site during normal working hours as well as storage space for materials during the garden build. 

Any addition and/or alterations to the scope of works shall be treated as a variation and subject to written instructions. 

Gardens with Holmes is not able to accept responsibility for any damage to (or cost involved with) any underground hazards, obstructions or services not made known to us in writing or apparent on visual inspection. 

Staged payments against works completed/materials on site to be made at intervals agreed in advance. Final payment to be made following completion and payable within 7 days of our invoice. 

It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure we are made aware of any special/statutory Bylaws/Conditions/Permissions that may be involved. 

We accept no responsibility for works that have been carried out on land that is not under the ownership of the client and it is assumed that all planning laws or regulations have been applied before commencement of any works. 

As we do not maintain the garden following completion, we are not able to accept responsibility for the living plant material, including turf. Upon completion, the responsibility for the care and watering of all plants, lawns, etc., is handed over to the client and will require regular attention until established. 

After completion, we are not able to accept responsibility for any damage through the elements, including drought, winds, rain and frost or any animal or insect to any material(s) including plants. 

We accept no responsibility and offer no guarantee on works, whole or part, completed to other parties design or specification.

Severe weather conditions, including drought, or frost may cause the delay of the start date of the project. 

All materials on site remain the property of Gardens with Holmes until payment is received in full. 

We do not offer maintenance to gardens post-completion.

We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. 

Privacy Statement

Gardens with Holmes only collect the information needed to carry out our service. We handle your data based consent or contract. All details collected are encrypted and stored in online systems, applications and virus protected hardware. We do not share your data.
